March 4th (formerly, Little Pickle Press) is creating a new universe for young people—one filled with characters whose stories entertain while imbuing qualities such as kindness, bravery, honesty, empathy, and patience. The universe spans video, film, aStories™ (i.e., our augmented story app), merchandise, and print, and is formed through synergistic collaborations with partners, the result of which is that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

An example of one such partnership is the one we just announced with Sourcebooks, Inc. As of January 7, 2017, Sourcebooks acquired publishing, foreign, and audio rights in all titles previously published under March 4th’s Little Pickle Stories and Big Dill Stories imprints. Sourcebooks will publish the titles under the “Little Pickle Press” brand name, which is now part of Jabberwocky, Sourcebooks’ children’s imprint. March 4th will support sales of Little Pickle Press and certain Jabberwocky titles through its production of related animated videos, aStories, and merchandise.

We look forward to continuing to add meaningful stories to our universe, forging dynamic partnerships to maximize our positive impact, and giving children the characters who inspire them as they build their own.
